A new cat tale

As a board member of FORe (Friends of Richter Park), I attended the second annual meeting on Wednesday evening.  I sat next to Sandy and we talked about many things, of course grandchildren, our children and cats.

Sandy has an older cat and she explained that this is their upstairs cat.  She said when her daughter moved and could no longer have pets, her cats joined their household. Sandy's cat and the new additions could not get along so the family ended up with an upstairs cat and downstairs cats.

The cats lived happily, separately for a while and one of the new additions got sick and died.  They buried him in the back yard and Sandy's husband asked "Who's Max? not even realizing that there were two cats living in the lower level of the house.

I know I am missing something in the translation, but Sandy will be sending the details of my new story.

For those of you who want toi save Richter House, join FORe and help us fix the roof, support the arts and improve the golf paths.
